RED SSS MAGELLAN 316J REG CAA2230182 RAA 4731717 Magellan was added to the herd sire battery from the 2022 SSS Red Angus Bull sale. Chosen for his performance and extended skeletal outline with a refreshing pedigree. His Dam, Jessie 588F, weaned him off at a 112 WW ratio. His sire, Red Allison Mooney 62G, is leaving his mark in the industry with his gorgeous daughters. We are excited to see the Magellan 316 daughters in production.

Marshall was the high seller at the spring 2022 Moose Creek Red Angus Bull Sale. How did we select Marshall? His dam, performance, phenotype and a reputable program with honesty and integrity. With all the tools available to select cattle in today’s age, sometimes we need to remember to look at the big picture and ask ourselves "What makes money for our customers and ourselves?" At the time he was sold his sire was unknown. After parental verification through DNA his sire was found to be Red SSS High Roller 440F. Marshall will sire added spine length, hip and pin width. We are excited to add his daughters into the herd.

We added Executive 42J to the Herd Sire lineup from the 2022 W Sunrise Annual Bull Sale. Chosen for his masculine characteristics, good performance, maternal pedigree, traditional Angus head, an excellent hoof shape and great disposition. This bull exhibits great libido in the breeding pasture while being easy fleshing. Yes, he is a black red carrier. Something we aren’t afraid to use with the genetic progress this bull offers. His dam, Red Brown Creek Molly 99C, has a proven track record. She has produced multiple progeny in high demand. His sire, PM Executive Decision 5'17 is currently making waves in the Angus world siring gorgeous females with impeccable udders. PM Executive Decision is turning out to be a breed changer. Hugo is a bull we sold to Lauer Farms in our 2021 Bull Sale and used through AI. A pedigree stacked with female makers such as Red Flying K Hard Drive 83E, Red ML Max 862U, Namken Resource 33D and Rob Roy. Hugo posted a 110 WW Ratio and a 115 YW Ratio and a 1562 YW. His Sire, 83E, is known for producing gorgeous udders, impeccable feet and good scrotal circumference. Hugo's dam, 227F, comes from the highly maternal Sierra cow family. 227F is proving her maternal ability with a 105 MPPA.
